Going Crazy trying to put my finger on this one. It said that Windows had shut down the device, Error Code 43. Under Hardware Management is where I saw the Error Code in the Troubleshooting box when my mouse quit working while on that page. I downloaded the latest Mouseware from Logitech and also the Latest DirectX (that I had at one point gotten) just to check to see if reinstallation would help. However, that logically doesn't change anything. A lot of times I must unplug the mouse from the USB Port it is in, and try another. Sometimes Alt+Tabbing back to windows will get the mouse to work again if only temporarily. Since I'm a gamer, loss of mouse at any time can be crucial to my serious hobby. Sometimes, though not always, the USB Connectivity Ding*Dong*Ding (signifying that a USB item has been found on the system) will ring out its tone. While in Windows, or any game doing whatever, the mouse will stop working. I have tried installing an updated mouse driver. When I hook up the Logi mouse, though, there is no way to get it to track the same way.
